Animation Tip#4 – WOFAIM

wofaim2Before an animator even starts to thumbnail (let alone open up a program!), he /she should always apply the WOFAIM method to his scene. Jason Ryan uses it (supervising animator at Dreamworks and founder of Ianimate) for every scene he does, so it might just be a good idea to try it out too.

We’ve all heard these questions before, but unfortunately the fruits from this stage can hardly be seen in most reels today. So I hereby present an image for all to see, keep, and memorize. Please take it, apply it, and create awesome animation!
