This nugget of greatness was animated for fun by Kirk Jorgensen, an animator at Nelvana Studio who blogs as well. Kirk provided a great example of how to inject tons of life into subtle movements and short bursts. Slowly going through drawings from this short would enhance any animator’s arsenal of timing and spacing tricks.

Here is an amazing short I stumbled upon, originally created by a cal arts student named Jason Keane:
